Dassel Area Historical Society to preserve our area's past. Dassel has a unique place in the history of Minnesota.
Ergot sent to and processed in Dassel was used to make medicine that saved many lives during WW2. Dassel also was an important area in the seed corn industry
and continues to have a place in that industry today.
